- Next Sunday May 31st we will be having Good Ole’ Fashion potluck. Please bring a dish and enjoy a great meal and great fellowship.
- JCA fundraiser is this Saturday May 30th. Lots of great items in the silent auction and live auction. Susie Luchsinger will be performing some of her songs as well. We are asking all CJ members to bring 2 dozen cookies to help with refreshments. Evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. Hope to see you there.
- Sunday and Monday Susie Luchsinger will join us in service. Great music and a wonderful testimony. You don’t want to miss it.
- Men’s softball is here. We won our game last week with a come from behind. Tonight we have an 8:00 p.m. game at the Hobbs softball complex. Come out and cheer the Cowboys on.
- Don’t forget Home Groups on Sunday evenings. We are doing the Rob Bell Nooma videos at the Millers’ home. The time is 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Childcare giver is provided. Never too late to join the fun.
- June 7th and 8th, Pastor Ty will continue The Forgotten Arts series. Two more weeks to go. The Forgive and The Steadfast are still to come.
- Monday was Memorial Day! CJC says thank you to all of those who serve this country. Thank you for providing a free country for us to live in and enjoy. For those who have fallen, we will not forget the sacrifice.
- A new series started this Sunday and Monday. “The Forgotten Arts” will continue until the 15th of June. You don’t want to miss one of them. If you missed service this weekend, you can hear it at www.cowboyjuncitonchurch.com under the media and podcast tabs.
- Next Sunday the 24th we will have Italian potluck immediately following the morning service. Please join us for a great meal.
- Mens’ softball begins this week. Tuesday, May 19th is the 1st practice at College Lane School playground at 6:30 p.m. Bring your glove and running shoes. A great time for fellowship. The 1st game will be on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at the Hobbs softball complex. Come out and support our team.
- Don’t forget to invite someone to the JCA Fundraiser Sat. May 30th. There will be great items for you to bid on in the silent auction as well as the live auction. Great entertainment will also be provided by Susie Luchsinger. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.
- Girls’ Night Out will be this Friday night. We are meeting at 6:00 p.m at Pacific Rim for dinner and we will hop over to the movies immediately following. We will also be celebrating Ashley Davis’ birthday.
- Next week Pastor Ty is beginning a new series called the “Forgotten Arts”. It is going to be an incredible 4 week series on issues that we often over look. You don’t want to miss a single week.
- Next Sunday May 17th will be Good Ole’ Fashion Potluck. Bring your favorite dish and join us for a great meal and a great time of fellowship.
- Sat. May 30th JCA will be hosting a fundraiser at CJC. We will have incredible items available in a silent auction as well as a live auction. Entertainment will be provided by Susie Luchsinger. This event begins at 6:30 p.m and will last until the last item is gone. This will be an exciting evening and we hope to see you there.
- Sunday May 31st and Monday June 1st Susie Luchsinger will be in concert. She is an amazing singer and she has an inspiring testimony. Please spread the word and join us for this service.
- Girls Night Out is Friday May 22nd. We will be going to dinner and a movie. Next week we will have more details.
- Men’s Softball begins Thursday May 21st. We have got a good group of men signed up and it is a great time of fellowship. So pack up your stadium seat and bring money for the concession stand. Let’s Play Ball!!!
- Home Groups will pick back up this Sunday at Mike and Jacqulyn Miller’s home. It begins at 6:30 p.m and last until 8 p.m. We are doing a video series by Rob Bell called Nooma. Their home is located off of Alabama at 7721 N. Tomlinson in Hobbs.
- Calling all Men! Sign-Ups for our church softball team. Please call Ty at 390-2333 or see the sign-up sheet on the back table.
- Mission Drift is this Thursday at 5:30 p.m in the main sanctuary. We will have food provided so right after work get the kids and head this way. We need everyone at this meeting so please make every effort to be here.
- Potluck for Sunday May 10th will be Soup and Salad. Please stay after service and enjoy a great meal and fellowship with us.
- Mother’s Day celebration will be held this Sunday and Monday. We have got something incredible and very special planned for the moms this year. Father’s Day has been a great day for the last 2 years and it is “High Time” that Mother’s Day ROCKED!!! Please bring your mother and join us this coming weekend.
- Junction Christian Academy will be having it’s first fundraiser on Sat. May 30th. This will begin at 6:30 p.m. We will enjoy great music with Susie Luchsinger, a silent auction, and other enjoyable entertainment. Please come out and support this incredible venture that CJC is taking.
- Sunday May 31st and June 1st Susie Luchsinger will be in concert in our main services. She will also be sharing some of her testimony between songs. She has an incredible story to tell and a voice that will minister to you all on its own
