- Next week immediately following Sunday morning service, we will have a Good Ole’ Fashion Potluck. Stay and enjoy a great meal with your church family.
- Beginning next Sunday, CJC will be joining thousands of churches across the world with ONE PRAYER. We will get to hear Pastor Perry Nobles share their churches ONE PRAYER for 2009-2010. It is going to be an exciting 3 weeks. You won’t want to miss one message.
- Fantasy Football drafts are Tuesday August 25th at 6:30 p.m. This is the adult league draft. The Youth and College League draft will be tomorrow night the 26th at 6:30 p.m. We had a blast with this last year and we would love for you to join us this year.
- Thursday, August 27th at 6:30 p.m. we are having a planning session for our 5th annual Fall Fun Festival. We have got some great new ideas for this coming October 17th. Please come join us in preparing for this community wide event.
- Girls Grub will be Sat. September 12th at 11:30 a.m. We will be having a Tea Party Buffet and a very special speaker. Jodi Wilson will be sharing a very powerful and relevant Word. We are asking for 10 ladies to take a table and decorate it to her liking. If you are interested in this, please contact Heather at 492-9439. We are also wanting every woman that is attending the event to bring a “Tea Party” dish. This could be an appetizer, finger sandwiches, soup, fruit or pastries.
- Water Baptism service will be held Monday September 14th. It is not to late if you are interested in being a part of this incredible service. Please contact Pastor Ty or Heather to sign up for this life changing experience.
- Next Sunday August 23rd we will have a Soup and Salad Potluck. Please join us for a great meal immediately following the morning service. It is so wonderful to go home to a clean kitchen, full bellies and a long nap.
- It is time for Cowboy Junctions’ Fantasy Football league. Find a partner and sign up by August 24th. Pick your favorite players and get ready for the draft. It is loads of fun and we want you to be a part of this.
- ONE PRAYER will begin the end of this month. Three weeks of great messages that you will not want to miss. Come see what Cowboy Junction is praying for in ‘09 & ‘10.
- School has begun and we are praying for each of you to have the best year ever. We believe in you! God is going to do great things this year through our teachers and our students.
- Fall Fun Festival meeting will be held on Thursday August 27th at 6:30 p.m. This is going to be the biggest festival to date. We had over 2,000 people in attendance last year, so we must be ready for more. Come dream BIG and help us plan an unforgettable, family experience.
- Congratulations to all of our 4-H and rodeo contestant kids. We are so proud of all your hard work. Thank you for representing the people of Lea County.
- Next Sunday August 16th we will enjoy a Good Ole’ Fashion Potluck. Bring your favorite dish and join us after service for a great time of fellowship.
- Next Sunday August 16th at 6:00 p.m. come out and enjoy the Ty Bean Invitational. This is for all you bow hunters out there who are looking for a little competition. There will be 5 stations to get in your best shot.
- It is time again for Fantasy Football. If you are a football fan and you want to join in the fun, we need you to sign up at the back table. Find a partner and get involved.
- CJC is going to participate in ONE PRAYER again this year. Get “ready” to see what we will be praying for this next year. Great speakers and big vision.
- Junction Christian Academy is starting this Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. Please be in prayer for Crill and our 9 students. We are looking forward to a great year.
- Camp Crossfire was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who played a part in this life changing week. We could not do it without each and every one of you.
- Next Sunday August 9th we will have a Mexican Potluck lunch. Bring your favorite dish and stay for a great time of fellowship and food.
- Don’t forget Thursday night August 6th. Youth Night at the Rodeo will be featuring the band Salvador in concert. There will be lots of great games and activities for the youth of Lea County. What a great testimony when local churches work together!!
- This Friday August 7th we are having our monthly Parent’s Night Out. We will meet at the church at 6:00 p.m. to drop off the kids and then we will carpool to the Fair and Rodeo. We will get to enjoy turkey legs, corn dogs, and funnel cakes. A time to be kids without the kids. We will make it back to the church by 9:00 p.m. to pick up our kids. Hope to see you there.
- Junction Christian Academy will have begin school on Wednesday August 12th. It is still not to late to enroll. If you know of someone who is interested in sending their child, please have them call Crill at 631-2435.
